Potentially similar problem:
  https://gitlab.com/qemu-project/qemu/-/issues/649
we are going to update qemu to 7.1 to see how that goes.

The NFS timeout may not be related

Upgraded to qemu 7.1.0 which is our best hope for resolving this: https://git.yoctoproject.org/poky/commit/?id=9040d46f59643270695afdb093e8b403b89b898a
