Maybe moving to the new data centre will help resolve this as our Arm workers will be more uniform. halstead: can you remember what host configuration was needed for the virgl tests to work on the x86 workers on typhoon? I'd like to see if we can make them work on the aarch64 Altra workers on valkyrie. The new AB cluster has a number of Altras but they're GPU-free so we're still unable to test this. If I remember correctly we loaded the vgem module and used a virtual gpu to run those tests. ubuntu2204-vk-arm[12] and ubuntu2404-vk-arm[12] already have the needed module loaded at boot. Alex Kanavin was the lead on making those tests work as far as I know. |
