We could use some help from Paul or the Wind River layerindex folks to describe/document the approach(es) to fix these errors.

Bulk move of bugs from 5.0-M3 to 5.99.
The bugs in this list are all unassigned and are ones that I consider to be nice to do some time but not essential track from milestone to milestone in 5.0 or 5.1. We agreed on this bug handling approach in the YP bug review on Feb 22, 2024.

If you disagree, please move back to a 5.[012...]-M* milestone.

The specific layers that were trouble and why this bug was filed have now been fixed as part of the work funded by the Yocto Project members.

There will be on-going breakage of other specific layers. Hopefully folks will file bugs for them as they occur.

Also, layer maintainers need to continue to submit new sub-layers as they are created.
