The patch which fixes this issue is on this link https://lists.openembedded.org/g/openembedded-core/message/179818 We are VERY reluctant to patch tar so best to get the patch merged upstream. The upstream is informed about this https://www.mail-archive.com/bug-tar@gnu.org/msg06198.html but no response yet... OK the upstream finally has taken this one into the account http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/tar.git/commit/?id=5461025569c2d946fb31b79f16f60e923bbd79f9 tar has been updated to 1.35 |
