Description Yoann Congal 2023-12-12 17:06:15 UTC
Since poky:3c9c721be300, there is a dependency chain between core-image-minimal and bluez (and other surprising recipes like wayland, cairo, ...). Another effect is to make the number of tasks jump from 3608 to 4576 (+27%).

The dependency chain is :
* bash -> bash-ptest -> ...
* util-linux -> util-linux-ptest -> ...
* mdadm -> mdadm-ptest -> ...
* strace (with bluetooh as DISTRO_FEATURES) -> ...
* bluez

Where to split the dependency chain?
* strace -> bluez? (This one is surprising and maybe not needed by default?)
* mdadm-ptest -> strace? (can we disable the test that depend on this given the cost?)

Meanwhile on IRC:
[6:07:37 pm] <rburton> yocton: i had a quick look at strace and it still wants the bluez headers. i'd endorse just deleting the PACKAGECONFIG:class-target line in strace
