Working with Martin Jansa to fix the issues around importing meta-webosose and meta-luneos/-luneui:

Martin: I've tried to add meta-webos-backports-4.1, but it cannot be added due to the layername containing dot, it shows validation error:
"Name must only contain alphanumeric characters and dashes" and "Name of the layer - must be unique and can only contain letters, numbers and dashes"

Opening this bug to resolve whether this is a hard requirement of Django ORM or just a design/implementation choice made at the time.
