Hey Jorg. I agree it seems reasonable that you should be able to provide multiple matching patterns to the informational commands you listed. So I don't object to this enhancement. I'll add the detail that multiple matching patterns could be interpreted either as a UNION or INTERSECTION operation. (ie. a package name must match pattern_a OR pattern_b; versus having to match pattern_a AND pattern_b). I imagine that users would prefer the UNION/OR operation, since the alternative can easily be achieved by passing the opkg output into successive grep calls. I'll add this enhancement to the backlog. |
Created attachment 5014 [details] Filter patch I like to have multiple filter for these commands: opkg list opkg list-installed opkg list-upgradable opkg info opkg status I have added my patch but this patch only allows two filter instead of one filter. You may have a better solution to add more filter. Thanks
