Description kweihmann 2024-11-12 12:42:48 UTC
Since https://git.yoctoproject.org/poky/commit/?id=fc027ef55fa5e03b6fd6241161fa46b3e1bd10d2

the following sequence gives and error

bitbake cmake-native && \
bitbake cmake-native -caddto_recipe_sysroot && \
oe-run-native cmake-native cmake --help

while

bitbake cmake-native && \
bitbake cmake-native -caddto_recipe_sysroot && \
sleep 10 && \
oe-run-native cmake-native cmake --help

works fine (as all the commits in before).

Looks like a missing sync at the end of the call

Is this being actively worked on?
It is breaking any kind of CI lately, so my personal immediate response would have been to revert the patch, but I do not see that on the mailing list anywhere.

Please unbreak what has been working in before

Sadly this issue is lost in a sea of other problems. We don't have anywhere near enough people to work on everything immediately. Please send patches if you want to see faster results.

Finding a way to fix your patch submission issue would help a lot.
