change owner to Zhao Yi, who will look into the feature enabling. Since some lsb websites are down for maintenance a long time. I can not get more information. Here I just give a rough time for it and plan to finish it in 1.2 M1. LSB testing is different from LTP or POSIX testing. LSB testing need to be installed a set of binary packages (rpm format). We do not need to build the test cases from sources. Currently we have a recipe named lsb in recipes-extended directory added by Xiaofeng Yan. This recipe is used for adding lsb support for a lsb image. There is a script named LSB_Setup.sh in this recipe. This script do the following things: 1. setup LSB testing environment, such as adding users. 2. install the lsb rpm package from local. This means that you must put the packages to the image first. I want to add a script or a set of scripts instead of the LSB_Setup.sh. The script do the following things: 1. setup LSB testing environment 2. download lsb rpm packages from remote 3. install the packages 4. start lsb testing 5. collect the results In order to implement the automated testing, the script should be invoked by poky testing automation framework. Any comments for this design? Thanks. The LSB official download page: http://ftp.linuxfoundation.org/pub/lsb/ is down for maintenance a long time, I can not get the LSB rpm packages. That's meaning my script can not be tested and verified now. So I think this feature will be delayed.
