This issue tracks documenting the following tasks so that the PM or other project participants can assist with the YC compatible approval process:

1. Verifying that a layer has been tested against the autobuilder
2. How to check a layer against yocto-compat-layer.py
3. How to update the layer index and the website

## Autobuilder Validation

- https://valkyrie.yoctoproject.org/#/builders/85/builds/120
- Layer needs to be manually added by the TSC to test configuration 
- Alternative is that this script is manually run


## yocto-check-layer.py

- This is what the autobuilder runs

## Updating layer index and website

- layer index is... https://layers.openembedded.org
- Ben will need an account and have the right permissions


## Submitting Layer to Layer Index

- We missed this!
- Layer has to be submitted to https://layers.openembedded.org, can be done at any time e.g. when they fill out form.
