Migration guide to 4.3 states that AUTHOR variable has been removed. But bitbake-getvar -f doc --value AUTHOR still returns information about it. > Email address used to contact the original author(s) in order to send patches and forward bugs. Also the variable is not part of BB_RENAMED_VARIABLES, so no warning is issued, when still being used.
