There are some pv-1.9.31 (pipe viewer) tests that look for memory leaks. The tests pass on natively on PopOS with valgrind-3.18.1 but fail with 3.24.0 from oe-core. Randy should skip some meetings and figure out if there's a problem with valgrind or with pv. Reproducer: Setup poky/master (2d66669b8c) with meta-oe (868c11831b + with pv-1.9.31 update): Add to conf/local.conf: IMAGE_INSTALL:append = " pv-ptest" In the pv_1.9.31.bb file, comment out: rm -f ${testsdir}/Memory* build and boot qemux86-64, cd /usr/lib/pv/ptest Save yourself some time by modifying run-ptests to just run: tests/Memory*
