This failure occurred only once, about 4 months ago. I checked other AB test failures and found no recurrence pattern. Since clang-native is built multiple times daily across ongoing AB test runs and this hasn't happened again, it doesn't appear to be a consistent/reproducible issue. It looks like a one-time OOM (or similar resource issue) on the AB rather than an actual defect in clang. We can revisit this if it recurs.. Hi Randy, this bug is not reproducible locally as well as on AB, and hasn't recurred since. Can we close this bug? (In reply to Mathieu Dubois-Briand from comment #0) > ERROR: clang-native-22.1.2-r0 do_compile: Execution of > '/srv/pokybuild/yocto-worker/qemux86-tc/build/build-st-15498/tmp/work/x86_64- > linux/clang-native/22.1.2/temp/run.do_compile.5266' failed with exit code 1 > ERROR: Logfile of failure stored in: > /srv/pokybuild/yocto-worker/qemux86-tc/build/build-st-15498/tmp/work/x86_64- > linux/clang-native/22.1.2/temp/log.do_compile.5266 > ... > | {standard input}: Assembler messages: > | {standard input}:60553: Warning: end of file not at end of a line; newline > inserted > | {standard input}: Error: open CFI at the end of file; missing .cfi_endproc > directive > | g++: fatal error: Killed signal terminated program cc1plus > | compilation terminated. Usually this error happens when compiler runs out of memory. This bug was likely just a one-time OOM. It's been 5 months of frequent clang-native builds with no repeat, so closing this as WORKSFORME. Happy to reopen if it shows up again. |
