I noticed that u-boot lives in 
meta/recipes-bsp/uboot
as the name of the package is u-boot it is (slightly) better to rename the dir from uboot to u-boot

Attached is a proposed patch. 
Not sure on for what tree to submit the patch.
This one is against oe-core, not against the poky/yocto git
patch has also been mailed to the oe-core mailing list.
