With master we could set PREFERRED_PROVIDER for other packages, like libx11, but we could not change the provider for libc. After we set PREFERRED_PROVIDER_virtual/libc to uclibc, it is still glibc in Hob.

It seems that we use a different way to switch between eglibc and uclibc.

You need to set the following pair in Hob's advanced setting dialog:

key    value
TCLIBC uclibc

Scott, could we document this in the new Hob's user manual?

Dongxiao,

Hob User's Manual?  I know of no such document.  If we are supposed to have a dedicated Hob User's Manual nobody told me about it.

What I mean is the Hob part in poky's user manual.

Funtion works just not clear how to use it.  A separate bug regarding hob manual will be opened
