Description Saul Wold 2012-04-04 15:28:13 UTC
Attempting to run an image after the build is complete is not successful. By default the "Your image is ready" screen shows the completed image and has the ext3 image selected. I then try to "Run Image", a "Load Kernel Files" dialog box pops up (this should not happen as we should know our default kernel image), so I select the correct kernel image and "Open" it. Then nothing happens, it simply returns to the "Image details" page.

Saul, what's the poky commit that you test this case? I cannot reproduce it with latest master.
Comment 2 Saul Wold 2012-04-05 14:59:29 UTC
I was using the latest master as of yesterday, I will try again today and give you the exact version and build info.
Comment 3 Shane Wang 2012-04-08 14:24:15 UTC
Saul, are you running Hob in the self-hosted image? If so, can you check whether xterm exists?
Comment 4 Shane Wang 2012-04-09 02:12:01 UTC
Saul has the patch to check whether VTE exists or not if xterm is not available.
So give the bug to Saul.
Comment 5 Shane Wang 2012-04-09 13:47:14 UTC
Saul said he was not testing on self-hosted image. But we need more info which kind of error he met.
Comment 6 Shane Wang 2012-04-10 17:02:11 UTC
Can't be reproduced on Saul's side
Comment 7 Andreea Brandusa Proca 2013-10-04 07:49:48 UTC
I will set it to verified since this problem does not appear anymore.
