with 20120418-2 images for qemux86-sato, boot system successful and then launch
the Terminal and run "perl"

Observed Result

This problem also exist with qemux86-64-sato image.

Perl is not part of core-image-sato, it is part of core-image-sato-sdk, which contains all the tools and other bits.  Sato is designed to be a simple UI based system with apps.
