Description Dave Stewart 2012-06-04 16:42:04 UTC
The documentation for the build appliance does not make it clear how to shut it down.

What I usually do is the following:

1. Exit Hob by hitting the "x" in the upper right corner and clicking Exit Hob or whatever the button says

2. When the Hob window closes, in the window with the "#" shell prompt (the superuser window) type "shutdown -h now".

This is clunky, and doesn't really work well, but it's at least a direction.

Added three steps to the Build Appliance documentation web page per Dave's suggestion.
