Description Martin Jansa 2012-08-21 07:33:02 UTC
Updating cache sometimes fails, but does not say which recipe is failing to parse:

ERROR: Command execution failed: Traceback (most recent call last):

    if not self.parser.parse_next():

    logger.error('Unable to parse %s', value.recipe,

even with debug output of
bitbake -v -v -D shr-image 2>&1 | tee -a log
I cannot find which recipe/file is causing this

There have been a number of error handling fixes in master over the last week - is this issue still reproducible with current master?

Changing status to NEEDINFO
Comment 4 Paul Eggleton 2012-09-07 15:23:57 UTC
OK, with some help from Martin last night I tracked down the cause of this and have sent some patches to the bitbake-devel mailing list.
