Description Alexandru Georgescu 2012-09-21 11:22:12 UTC
An user is allowed to install the toolchain in the default location (/opt/poky/1.2+snapshot) only by running it it with sudo, like:

[alex@alex-v toolchain]$ sudo ./poky-eglibc-x86_64-i586-toolchain-gmae-1.2+snapshot-20120916.sh

A nice improvement would be to have a sudo passwd prompt during installation if the user doesn't run it with sudo.

password prompt met when run toolchain sh file without "sudo" to install toolchain to dir "/opt/poky/" which need root's write right with git master 381c4b69c7e8b452f4d3de2f8214e6e5f6a9abe7.
