Description Paul Eggleton 2012-09-21 13:47:23 UTC
If I try to do a build of any image now with 1.3_M5 on a system without X11 installed (headless server) gdk-pixbuf fails at do_configure with the following error:

...

| checking sys/sysinfo.h usability... yes

| Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
| installed software in a non-standard prefix.
|
| Alternatively, you may set the environment variables GDK_PIXBUF_XLIB_DEP_CFLAGS
| and GDK_PIXBUF_XLIB_DEP_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
| See the pkg-config man page for more details.

I might just point out this is a very recent regression...
Comment 2 Paul Eggleton 2012-09-24 09:49:25 UTC
Actually, this is when using DISTRO = "poky-lsb" so this is not a regression, but an artifact of enabling X11 support in gdk-pixbuf for the target when building for LSB. Since I have to assume we only actually want this for the target, the linuxstdbase overrides probably need to have a class-target override added.

This has been fixed by Richard in master:
