Hello Belen, If there are a lot of mirrors added, scrolling is needed. However, the design, as it is now, consumes a lot of screen space. I propose to clarify and simplify the design by providing a list of mirrors to display, and common, fixed buttons for adding, deleting and editing mirrors. I will provide a sketch-up later on. Regards, Cristian Hi Cristian, Happy to accept suggestions. We spent a lot of time working on this, though: the problem with setting up mirrors is that it is not as simple as entering a URL. The required format changes depending on the mirror directory structure. We spent a lot of time trying to find a design that provides some guidance on the expected format. For some background, you can check this bug: https://bugzilla.yoctoproject.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2893 and speak to Cristiana, who worked on it. Cheers Belen Part of HOB improvement sprint for 1.4 merged to master verified on 33440ee70623394d06a4b214c2be10788cba6d08 I am marking this as verified. When we agree on a new design for the tab, I'll open a new bug |
Created attachment 870 [details] adding-a-lot-of-mirrors.png Add a few mirrors in the 'Shared state' tab and things get a bit ugly. The dialog window grows vertically beyond the screen size, and so you cannot longer access dialog buttons (see attached screenshot). The tab area should probably become scrollable whenever the mirror rows exceed the original vertical area. The 'Cancel' and 'Save' buttons should not change position, always staying in view so that you can easily interact with them.
