Steps to reproduce:
1)boot a crownbay 
2)"zypper install ncurses-terminfo"
3)"rpm -e ncurses-terminfo"
4)"rpm -ivh ncurses-terminfo"

Notice output:

root@crownbay-noemgd:~# zypper install ncurses-terminfo

The following NEW package is going to be installed:
  ncurses-terminfo

Retrieving: ncurses-terminfo-5.9-r9.1.core2.rpm [done]
Installing: ncurses-terminfo-5.9-r9.1 [done]

root@crownbay-noemgd:~# rpm -e ncurses-terminfo
root@crownbay-noemgd:~# rpm -ivh ncurses-terminfo-base-5.9-r9.1.core2.rpm

error: Install/Erase problems:

Please note that the packages are removed from the system.

Could someone please re-check this one with Smart and current rpm in master?

We're doing SMART not zypper any more
