Description Vitaly Perov 2012-11-27 16:27:24 UTC
I try to build core-image-minimal, but it hangs at building neon-native package:

Build Configuration:
BB_VERSION        = "1.17.0"
BUILD_SYS         = "x86_64-linux"
NATIVELSBSTRING   = "MandrivaLinux-2011.0"
TARGET_SYS        = "arm-oe-linux-gnueabi"
MACHINE           = "qemuarm"
DISTRO_VERSION    = "oe-core.0"
TUNE_FEATURES     = "armv5 dsp thumb"
TARGET_FPU        = "soft"
meta              = "master:764cc1eb3043c84121f597d2271108b91052095e"

Is there a log file for the configure in either the ${WORKDIR}/temp directory (temp/log.do_configure) or a config.log in $S?

Can you please attach both of those if possible.

I notice your running Mandriva, I wonder if there is something going on with that distro that's causing the issue, there might be some native tool or library that's causing neon-native to hang.
Comment 2 Vitaly Perov 2012-11-30 16:43:56 UTC
log.do_configure is too big to send it.
Last not-repeated lines are:

checking for krb5-config... /usr/bin/krb5-config
/usr/bin/krb5-config: line 24: multiarch-platform: command not found
/usr/bin//krb5-config: line 24: multiarch-platform: command not found

After installation of rpm-build the problem has been solved!

Thank you for your help!

P.S. Maybe it's better to add this dependency somewhere?

Hmm, this looks like a host contamination issue, can you try to edit the recipe file for neon and add the following line:

EXTRA_OECONF = "--without-gssapi"

Then check that it does not look for krb5, also please look at the config.log
for the target neon, I want to make sure it's not finding it also.
