Hello,

I only did what is mentioned on yocto site - download -Yocto Project 1.3 Poky 8.0

git clone -b danny git ://git.yoctoproject.org/poky.git

and then

git pull

I thing it is 1.3 release (don't know about branch+commit)

Until know all other image I've tried (base, basic, minimal, lsb) worked fine

I hope this will help

Best regards

Mihai M

Thanks that's helpful, what about the SDKMACHINE, is your machine a new x86-64 or a older x86, just want to confirm this, I am building on Ubuntu now, and will setup a Centos VM if I can not reproduce this.
Comment 4 Saul Wold 2013-02-05 22:01:29 UTC
I tried to reproduce this and was not able to, I see that lttng2-ust provides the library, can you confirm if it was build and deployed. Which package system did you use? RPM, DEB, iPK? Anything else different in your local.conf? The only issue I could see different now is the CENTOS 5.7

Any additional Comments on this? I have not been able to reproduce this issue, more information would be helpful, thanks

Hi,
same error here on Debian 6 x64 while building fsl-image-gui with BB_VERSION="1.16.0".

 error: Failed dependencies:
| liblttng-ust-ctl.so.0 is needed by lttng-tools-v2.0.4-r0.armv7a_vfp_neon
| ERROR: Function failed: do_rootfs (see /home/ingo/freescale/yocto/fsl-community-bsp/build/tmp/work/imx6qsabrelite-poky-linux-gnueabi/fsl-image-gui-1.0-r0/temp/log.do_rootfs.11022 for further information)
ERROR: Task 7 (/home/ingo/freescale/yocto/fsl-community-bsp/sources/meta-fsl-demos/recipes-fsl/images/fsl-image-gui.bb, do_rootfs) failed with exit code '1'

Branch was danny.

Bogdan is listed as the lttng-* recipe maintainer. Assigning to him.

We've been seeing this on the autobuilder too - cleaning the lttng packages from sstate should fix it.

I also believe sstate is the issue here, but unfortunately I can't test it, because I don't have a CentOS image. QA, please retest this.
