Description Otto Linnemann 2013-03-13 08:02:43 UTC
When building GNU-guile with the latest stable yocto release poky-danny-8.0 by the command "bitbake guile" using an arm linux image and running in qemu the following runtime error messages are thrown when guile is started on the arm target:

> Throw without catch before boot:
> Throw to key
> Error while printing exception:
> Key:
> Failed to print exception.
> Aborting.
> Aborted

Has anybody brought up guile successfully on an arm or another openembedded target? Any help is highly appreciated.

Best Regards,

Otto Linnemann

Does this happen on master also?
Comment 2 Otto Linnemann 2013-03-19 08:24:34 UTC
What do you mean by master (x86 or another release)?
Comment 3 Paul Eggleton 2013-05-10 13:53:39 UTC
Saul means the master branch. I've just checked, the same error occurs for me with master on qemuarm.
Comment 4 Ross Burton 2013-05-22 09:53:39 UTC
Otto, what image were you testing on, and what is your locale?
Comment 5 Bogdan Marinescu 2013-05-22 10:58:04 UTC
Patch sent (guile: added runtime dependency on glibc-gconv-iso8859-1)
