Description Chen Qi 2013-03-18 06:41:29 UTC
WARNING: QA Issue: util-linux: Files/directories were installed but not shipped
  /lib/systemd
  /lib/systemd/system
  /lib/systemd/system/uuidd.socket
  /lib/systemd/system/uuidd.service

Previously, systemd unit files were packaged into a separate -systemd package. But then commit 56b8bb79decd6149de538dceb7044b285ee0cbe9 removed this package.

    util-linux: Remove -systemd package

unit files are added to util-linux itself when selected

Thus this QA warning.

For now, I want to package these files directly into util-linux, as util-linux upstream is now supporting systemd.

+FILES_${PN} += "${systemd_unitdir}/system/"

Another problem in util-linux related to systemd.

If systemd is used, uuidd should be built with socket activation enabled.
So add '--enable-socket-activation' to EXTRA_OECONF.

Fixed in master (oe-core cd3c8c9cea560a584178ed831bfc3c014b6663e6) with the util-linux-uuidd package.
