Description Scott Rifenbark 2013-03-18 18:30:19 UTC
I was researching the 'bitbake -u depexp -g core-image-minimal' command when trying to figure out some poky-tiny stuff and could not find the -u option listed in the output of the 'man bitbake' command.

We should document this option and include some explanation of the viewer options (if there are more than one - depexp).

Hi,

I create a tiny patch which fix this bug.
Please check.

From the patch it looks like this will be displayed:

userinterface to use. currentry, depexp or goggle can be specified as UI.

Can you change it to this:

User interface to use. Currently, depexp or goggle can be specified as UI.

Also, "goggle" is correct right? It isn't a typo for "google" is it? (I did a search on the internet for "goggle" as a UI and came up empty.)

Thanks,
Scott

You can find this from bitbake/lib/bb/ui/goggle.py.
# but this does not work on my environment.
And I found that ncurses can be specified.

I merged this into bitbake: http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit.cgi/poky/commit/?id=8054716544c2f4f817fb4ca0d57dd5ae243aed4e

In future a patch on the mailing list with a commit description and signed-off-by line would get applied faster.

I also added "hob" to the list of supported UIs.
