Hello,

As a consequence of https://bugzilla.yoctoproject.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4155 , WebKit HTML5 video cannot work with the GStreamer VPU plugins. WebKit uses a derivative of the appsink and appsrc, and since these do not work with the VPU plugins, only non-accelerated video is possible (by using gst-ffmpeg).

Considered critical since this effectively breaks WebKit HTML5 video on i.MX6 platforms. Observed with both danny and master branches.

We are facing the same issue on one of i..MX6 platform.

Could you please let us know which version of "gst-ffmpeg" you used to make it
work?

It would be great, if you can share gst-ffmpeg shared object file with us.

Thanks,
-Amit.
