To be clear, this is an issue in the fsl-ppc danny branch.

I builded  core-image-minimal, core-image-sato and fsl-image-lsb-sdk for p1022ds successfully . There is no problem for building xserver-xf86-config.
I can not reproduce the issue.

Did you enable rpm packages?

 I also can not reproduce the issue when  I enable rpm packages.

You also need to set DISTRO="poky-lsb", the value needs to contain a "-" character. When you find the problem, please backport the patch I linked to.

RPM does not support "- " in it's variable names.
