I'm nervous about the cause of this, we need to investigte... Confirmed. Odd. Also, "sudo ls" segfaults. Appears to be caused by xuser having a locked account in /etc/shadow: xuser:!:15806:0:99999:7::: su'ing to root and setting a password lets xuser attempt to sudo ls (which then fails as xuser isn't in /etc/sudoers) Is this related to the crypt issue we had recently? Yes. Fixed locally. Patch sent to oe-core. Fixed in master http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit.cgi/poky/commit/?id=2d94f1bde7c63b56b33bef34573211ecbeffaf44 Verified on master branch.
