The perl test suite was added by Kai Kang as a custom solution "perl-tests" at the same time ptest was merged. (Bug #3296)

Saul Wold asked Kai to update it to ptest and he agreed to do so Jan 16 but apparently has not had time to do it yet.

verified in yocto 1.5 build M1 (20130604-5)

test step:
in build/conf/local.conf  add:

DISTRO_FEATURES_append = " ptest"

EXTRA_IMAGE_FEATURES += "ptest-pkgs"

build an sato-sdk image for any arch

get ptest related files in /usr/lib/perl/ptest
