dylan:

1) boot a sato-sdk image (ex: core-image-sato-sdk-qemux86-64)
2) launch quicky text editor (type 'quicky' and enter)

Notice output in console:
QIconvCodec::convertFromUnicode: using Latin-1 for conversion, iconv_open failed
QIconvCodec::convertToUnicode: using Latin-1 for conversion, iconv_open failed

Note: quicky works as advertised. No apparent functionality issues.

I looked at these warnings in the context of fotowall for bug 349 some time ago; my conclusion then was that these warnings don't actually mean anything, therefore I'm also marking this bug as WONTFIX. If we have actual failures of internationalisation at runtime that is a separate issue that we should investigate.
