Description Tom Zanussi 2013-04-30 20:32:59 UTC
It's nice to be able to use systemtap on a target from the host via the 'crosstap' script, but when possible it's easier for purposes of experimentation and more the way systemtap was intended to be used to be able to run the scripts on the target.

Doing this requires a kernel module build environment for the running kernel, since the way systemtap works is via generating and compiling kernel modules, which we should be able to do on the target.

Hi Tom,

Is there any update on this?

Thanks,
Ada

No, but I won't be getting to it until 1.6, moving it there.
