Description Stefan Stanacar 2013-05-08 11:47:52 UTC
Right now qemuimagetest hardcodes ext3 as fs type.
For example if we add IMAGE_FSTYPES = "btrfs" in local.conf it will boot and test only the ext3 image that gets generated. We should respect IMAGE_FSTYPES and boot all images that runqemu supports.

I've sent a RFC patch to the ml: lists.linuxtogo.org/pipermail/openembedded-core/2013-May/039331.html

ext2/3/4, jffs2 and btrfs added:
http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit.cgi/poky/commit/?id=cef2446eb34c878ed9b5087d53c334cb407a2190

I still want to add at least vmdk (and maybe iso).
Comment 3 Stefan Stanacar 2013-07-10 10:45:35 UTC
I'm closing this as FIXED even though initialy I wanted to add vmdk also. This bug was opened for the old qemuimagetest implementation, I should file a bug for the new testimage class which only boots ext3 images.
