hi everyone, i just built successfully the minimul version using Hob. But afterwards with no change to configuration of any type i tried to build for core-image-sato again with Hob, but I encountered qt4 issue. I reinstalled qt4 package for ubuntu still no difference. I dont know what to do further. Build Configuration: BB_VERSION = "1.19.0" BUILD_SYS = "x86_64-linux" NATIVELSBSTRING = "Ubuntu-12.04" TARGET_SYS = "x86_64-poky-linux" MACHINE = "sugarbay" DISTRO = "poky" DISTRO_VERSION = "1.4+snapshot-20130527" TUNE_FEATURES = "m64" TARGET_FPU = "" meta meta-yocto = "master:676fd3f394a0c0576b63c77ed2184bf5f42c29b6" meta-intel meta-sugarbay = "master:2ba2e0ea55bab687134b452a5db81d189b820f59" meta-hob = "master:676fd3f394a0c0576b63c77ed2184bf5f42c29b6" I really appreicate for your help. thank you, Nas I've tried to reproduce this with master on top of Ubuntu 12.04 and haven't been able to so far. Can you attach the output of "dpkg -l | grep qt4" so I can see which Qt packages you have installed on your host? Changing status to NEEDINFO following on from comment above. I'm seeing this lately in jenkins builds, full log http://logs.nslu2-linux.org/buildlogs/oe/oe-shr-core-branches/log.world.20130629_142626.log/bitbake.log $ dpkg -l | grep qt4 ii libqt4-dbus:i386 4:4.8.1-0ubuntu4.3 Qt 4 D-Bus module ii libqt4-declarative:i386 4:4.8.1-0ubuntu4.3 Qt 4 Declarative module ii libqt4-designer:i386 4:4.8.1-0ubuntu4.3 Qt 4 designer module ii libqt4-network:i386 4:4.8.1-0ubuntu4.3 Qt 4 network module ii libqt4-opengl:i386 4:4.8.1-0ubuntu4.3 Qt 4 OpenGL module ii libqt4-qt3support:i386 4:4.8.1-0ubuntu4.3 Qt 3 compatibility library for Qt 4 ii libqt4-script:i386 4:4.8.1-0ubuntu4.3 Qt 4 script module ii libqt4-scripttools:i386 4:4.8.1-0ubuntu4.3 Qt 4 script tools module ii libqt4-sql:i386 4:4.8.1-0ubuntu4.3 Qt 4 SQL module ii libqt4-svg:i386 4:4.8.1-0ubuntu4.3 Qt 4 SVG module ii libqt4-test:i386 4:4.8.1-0ubuntu4.3 Qt 4 test module ii libqt4-xml:i386 4:4.8.1-0ubuntu4.3 Qt 4 XML module ii libqt4-xmlpatterns:i386 4:4.8.1-0ubuntu4.3 Qt 4 XML patterns module ii qt4-qmake 4:4.8.1-0ubuntu4.3 Qt 4 qmake Makefile generator tool Description: Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS I have now reproduced this issue here. It appears to be triggered by having 32-bit Qt libraries installed on the host but a 64-bit version of qmake, which CMake considers to be a broken configuration. If you have the same variants of qmake and Qt libraries (or no qmake/Qt installed) the issue does not occur. Interestingly though the failure seems to be a regression in 2.8.11. With dylan that uses 2.8.10, it warns about not finding Qt but configure succeeds. I'll compare the code to see why this is happening. |
