Description Andreea Brandusa Proca 2013-07-12 10:43:00 UTC
1. launch hob;
2. click Settings (or Advanced Configuration);
3. change the number of threads for example;
4. click Save;

Hob should display an busy cursor while the configuration is saved.

Hi,

The saving configuration process takes so long, because of the last changes in bitbake and hob (now it is saved all the configuration from hob).
I will add a busy cursor when hob sends a command to bitbake for saving the configuration.
Thanks,
Cristiana

No waits with the latest changes on master branch.
Comment 3 Belen Barros Pena 2013-09-09 12:57:27 UTC
Definitely much shorter delay in latest master, but I still get some delay for certain changes (for example, image types or package formats).

Since delays could be caused by things out of our control, implementing the busy cursor is probably a good idea.

I hope you don't mind if I reopen this.
