Steps:
1. Download the build-appliance image and boot up.
2. Choose a non-x86 qemu (qemuarm, qemumips or qemuppc) to build. 
When the prepare process finish, it will be back to the main interface.

Hi Zhao,

I opened this bug with the initial issue from #5052. The image from autbuilder has the problem you encountered, but we cannot find the commit 
2779faf33de96d1260955af08868f9ab89f1aed4 in master.
Can you please check the commit number again?

Investigation started.
Issue is reproducible on the latest master.
Issue happens only in BA, not on Hob ran on a dev machine.
