Description Ionut Chisanovici 2013-09-24 12:55:41 UTC
Following the quick start quide I tried to use bitbake but encoutered the following error:

Can't locate Text/ParseWords.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /home/ionut/work/poky/build/tmp/work/x86_64-linux/autoconf-native/2.69-r11/autoconf-2.69/lib /usr/local/lib64/perl5 /usr/local/share/perl5 /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib64/perl5 /usr/share/perl5 .) at ../bin/autom4te line 259.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at ../bin/autom4te line 259.

The perl Text::ParseWords is needed.

I solved this problem by installing cpan via yum that already contained the required perl module.

Hi,

Can anyone provide me with information on this package? Is cpan essential or is it needed for graphical, docs, or ADT support? Also, is this package needed for the other distros (i.e. Ubuntu, Debian, OpenSUSE, and CentOS

thanks,
Scott
