bitbake error messages

I was trying to follow the Quickstart demo in the mega manual to build an image for the QEMU 64... it failed on one package only, please see the attachment which is the bitbake output.

Somehow this slipped under my radar, sorry, I hope you got past this issue, if
not can you please let me know. You might try installing gcc-multilib, that
might be the problem.

This issue has already been fixed on the dylan branch by the following commit:

http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/poky/commit/?id=fcd93c0b41d69335752e5b0b28112913c4af0269

In order to build successfully on Ubuntu 13.10 the best options are as follows:

1) Use the latest version on the dylan branch, which will become 1.4.3 when it is released:
git clone git://git.yoctoproject.org
git checkout dylan

2) Wait until 1.4.3 is released and use that (likely in a few weeks)

3) Upgrade to the recently released 1.5.1

I hit save too soon, the git commands would actually be:

git clone git://git.yoctoproject.org/poky
cd poky
git checkout dylan
