2. In the Project Explorer right click the name of the project and select Copy
3. In the Project Explorer right click and select Paste
4. In the pop-up window that is displayed click the OK button, without modifying the default project name [Copy of ProjectName] which contains spaces
Also, if you copy and paste the same project multiple times the default name of the copy will also contain characters like ( and ) [Copy (2) of ProjectName]
5. In the Project Explorer right click the name of the new project and select Reconfigure and the following errors are displayed in the Eclipse console:

This is an upstream bug of eclipse project.

Scott,

Can you add a note in our documentation mentioning that for project name don't use special characters, e.g. space, underbar, etc.
Comment 2 Scott Rifenbark 2014-02-20 19:24:54 UTC
Hi,

I have added a brief note to the section in the development manual that steps the user through a project using Eclipse. You can see the note at http://www.yoctoproject.org/docs/1.6/dev-manual/dev-manual.html#creating-the-project.

Please review and let me know if it is okay.

Thanks,
Scott
