This is a funny one. The design specification simply describes the default behaviour of the Bootstrap popups, and the example in the Bootstrap documentation works as expected. Go to http://getbootstrap.com/2.3.2/javascript.html#modals and click the blue button saying "Launch demo modal" to see it working. You can dismiss the dialog by pressing the escape button or clicking outside the modal dialog. However, our Toaster modal dialogs can only be dismissed by clicking on the close button on the top right corner of the dialog. I cannot see any difference in the markup between the Bootstrap example and our dialogs, so I have no idea what could be causing this. Where/how does this happen? Could you please send an example url/page and scenario - what to do and what to see and what is incorrect. Thanks (In reply to comment #2) > Where/how does this happen? Thanks Open Toaster, and in the all builds table, click on one of the filter buttons (for example, the one in the Outcome table heading). A dialog will come up. You should be able to dismiss that dialog in 3 ways: 1. Clicking the x button on the top right hand corner of the dialog (this one works in Toaster) 2. Pressing the esc key on your keyboard (this one doesn't work in Toaster) 3. Clicking anywhere outside the dialog area (this one doesn't work either) Per discussion w/Belen, we decided this is not to be fixed because it is acting per widget's design. Furthermore, the object ids are not available so it is not feasible without significant instruction into jquery. Verified. |
