The testing of the High Speed Expansion (MAX-HSE) will require several components to be completed. 1) firmware support for each of the interfaces 2) micro-lure for testin sata, usb, i2c and GPIOs 3) seacat lure for testing of PCIe currently the firm has the USB host ports enabled so this should be able to be easily tested. it is unknown if the secondary sata port is enabled in the firmware. we need someone from the UEFI team to confirm, the i2c and GPIOs are still an issue in the firmware which darren is working on. the several of the micro-lure testers have been assembled and are ready to ship out to various Intel developers for testing. PCIe testing is pending. Some testing has been performed and basic PCI enumeration is verified as working. We will close once we can verify OS level interaction with the device. Testing has now been completed. . |
