After bug 4527 is completed, we can add it to image_tests so that we can perform runtime performance analysis automatically on qemu or a specific HW.

There is a related bug that might be implementing this already, bug is 10500. Sent mail about this and waiting for answers.

I'm marking this as Obsolete. It is a 3 year old bug and just marked obsolete its umbrella bug. Opened #10951 to track the new approach to this implementation and most likely a new version for this will be created for that one.
