RP needs to automate the release process for his part of it so that the build appliance revisions get updated and the versions get set correctly. Script automation is the way to resolve this.

I now have some simple helper scripts which should ensure this type of regression doesn't creep in again.

Can you give us a hint on how we can verify that the script is working correctly?
