Believed to be resolved, will verify with the next batch of hardware. I'm going to mark this WORKSFORME as I haven't seen this on other boards, and that this is probably racked up as a "John's boards are by definition 'weird'" |
I happened to notice this evening that the left LED on the ethernet port was lit, when no cable, or connection was present. Expected outcome: ---------- No cable, or connection, no lights. Other scenarios: Cable plugged in, gig-e switch connection: ------------- expected lights: left: green right: activity observed lights: left: green right: nothing Cable plugged in, 10/100 switch connection: ------------- expected lights: left: amber right: activity observed lights: left: green right: green activity I can try some more combinations but I figured I'd report what I have easily available
