which image? On a core-image-sato-sdk. (In reply to comment #2) > On a core-image-sato-sdk. Corneliu, can you tell when the issue have appeared? Info like if the issue is new or when it appeared will help both the triage but also the developer to address the issue. Hello, The issue is present on core2-32 also (more elaborate). [2849106.418] (EE) Failed to load module "psb" (module does not exist, 0) [2849106.419] (EE) Failed to load module "psbdrv" (module does not exist, 0) [2849106.434] (EE) open /dev/dri/card0: No such file or directory [2849106.434] (EE) open /dev/dri/card0: No such file or directory [2849106.495] (EE) open /dev/fb0: No such file or directory [2849106.496] (EE) open /dev/fb0: No such file or directory [2849106.497] (EE) Screen 0 deleted because of no matching config section. [2849106.497] (EE) Screen 0 deleted because of no matching config section. [2849109.316] (EE) AIGLX: reverting to software rendering I ran the image on emenlow. poky: 2d1660112e54653f7bb763939d0416472c49fe01 link to image: http://yocto-ab-master.jf.intel.com/pub/nightly-meta-intel/20140729-1/machines/intel-core2-32/ Regards, Costin Hello, I only ran the test recently, someone else in my team normally runs this(now in CC). My opinion is that if it was not reported until now, it has just appeared and the build mentioned by me is the latest that we got for testing and has the issue. Hello, Issue reproduced on core-image-sato-sdk for core2_32: root@intel-core2-32:~# cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep -v "(EE) error," | grep -v "PreInit" | grep -v "evdev:" | grep -v "glx" | grep "(EE)" [2688622.992] (EE) Failed to load module "psb" (module does not exist, 0) [2688622.993] (EE) Failed to load module "psbdrv" (module does not exist, 0) [2688623.027] (EE) open /dev/dri/card0: No such file or directory [2688623.028] (EE) open /dev/dri/card0: No such file or directory [2688623.084] (EE) open /dev/fb0: No such file or directory [2688623.085] (EE) open /dev/fb0: No such file or directory [2688623.085] (EE) Screen 0 deleted because of no matching config section. [2688623.085] (EE) Screen 0 deleted because of no matching config section. [2688626.179] (EE) AIGLX: reverting to software rendering poky : 7d80f8e9468253496a7097685aac8f468940a9c5 meta-intel : 200ebb54f46f364e7eb1738c5e993374f03f407d Costin The bug title and the subsequent comments are two different problems. One is 'intel: failed to load module present"', and reproduces on hardware that uses modern Intel GPUs. The other is: [2688622.992] (EE) Failed to load module "psb" (module does not exist, 0) [2688622.993] (EE) Failed to load module "psbdrv" (module does not exist, 0) [2688623.027] (EE) open /dev/dri/card0: No such file or directory [2688623.028] (EE) open /dev/dri/card0: No such file or directory [2688623.084] (EE) open /dev/fb0: No such file or directory [2688623.085] (EE) open /dev/fb0: No such file or directory This is not using a modern Intel GPU as it's on emenlow, which wants to load the psb drivers and doesn't support proper graphics. Let's ignore the psb issue for now (or file a separate bug) and keep this for the present module failure, which I can replicate. I don't think this is a fundamental problem, the present module is pretty new and we don't enable DRI3 which is the main user of it. Fixed upstream in http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/commit/?id=7ca458493aa2f0aa091c989ea0768611e0730bf5, testing a fix now. Merged in d7bb1d8b1a7cd11895037b7984b9aa916efa9733. |
