Description John 'Warthog9' Hawley 2014-08-19 05:25:51 UTC
In previous versions there were 3 statements that were requested by CircuitCo to be included in the boot process

>>>>SecStartup
>>>>MemoryInit Done
>>>>BdsEntry

for example, along with a statement that was printed out on serial console when the firmware timeout bar was being displayed.

These are no longer displayed on the serial console with MNW2CRB1.X64.0071.R30.1408131301 on an A0 board. The first indication I get on the serial console is when I either hit the boot loader or the uefi shell, at which point I get the expected respective outputs.

Serial console seems to work otherwise, there's just nothing output during the boot process the the serial console to give any indication of what's going on, which led me to believe (possibly) that the board was not booting (as I have no display hooked up). Can we get those messages re-instated, as this seems like a regression.

I verified the MNW2CRB1.X64.0071.R30.1408131301 with A0 board, there are 3 statements on serial console. Please note that the connection of serial cable is different between A0 and A1 board.
