Description Paul Eggleton 2014-12-08 10:08:17 UTC
Add support for generation of recipes for python software in "recipetool create". I haven't yet looked at it closely but if possible we should try to build on what Chris Larson started putting together for this:

Assigning to Chris after discussion on IRC.

https://github.com/kergoth/poky/compare/kergoth:master...recipetool-python work-in-progress, but functional. See https://gist.github.com/kergoth/6cca6caa4e9b22a21f75 for test recipes it created. Continuing to fix some issues before submission.
Comment 4 Christopher Larson 2015-01-03 22:49:54 UTC
https://gist.github.com/kergoth/7ad4b5102b2a5fe3a956 has my current todo.
Comment 5 Christopher Larson 2015-01-08 19:42:16 UTC
This is implemented and submitted to the oe-core list. There are naturally some things I'd like to improve, but it's feature complete and functional. Awaiting response.
Comment 6 Paul Eggleton 2015-02-12 15:02:21 UTC
Chris's implementation has been merged to master:

I think we can mark this as resolved; if we need to open up additional bugs for issues/enhancements we can do so.
