Description Paul Eggleton 2015-01-08 11:16:02 UTC
While working on the php recipe in meta-oe, I foind a couple of issues that our QA checks don't currently pick up:

1) Symlinks that point to a location under TMPDIR that is 99% certain to be broken on the target. (IIRC we do already have broken symlink detection, but the symlinks aren't broken at build time on the host.)

2) Shebangs (first line of a script starting with #!) that point to locations under TMPDIR. This may already be detected by file-rdeps, but we really ought to flag it up explicitly along with the offending file.

We should add or enhance the existing QA check code so that these issues are flagged.
